  16.           The _x_c_o_n_s_o_l_e program displays messages which are usually
  17.           sent to /dev/console.

  20.           _X_c_o_n_s_o_l_e accepts all of the standard X Toolkit command line
  21.           options along with the additional options listed below:

  25.                   specify the device name.  This does not work on
  26.                   regular files as they are always ready to be read
